Deploying updated files after a small update

Postby pluke » Thu Sep 18, 2008 11:17 am

I am building content that ultimately gets stored in Clearcase, which is a version control system. If I need to update something small, like add one sentence, is there any way to know which of the many files that gets downloaded in a published package needs to be replaced in my repository? It's a lot of work to check everything out of Clearcase and check it all back in.

I'm guessing that if all I do is add some text, one or more of the swf files needs replacing, but is there any way to know which one?

That depends on the download option you choose. In most cases, you need to replace tsunamiplayer.swf file. I hope this helps.
