Can I publish as a single swf?

Postby steve » Thu Mar 10, 2011 4:01 pm

Is it possible to have multiple tsunamiplayer.swfs in the same directory (obviously with differing names) using the same resource/support docs?

Alternatively is it possible to export Smartbuilder to a single swf (plus javascript & html)?

Thank you

Hi Steve,
SmartBuilder does not have a single SWF output.

You can create multiple lessons and merge them, but there are a number of files that you have to rename to prevent them from overwriting each other. The player.html and tsunamiplayer.swf are 2 of them (as well as edit the player.html to point to the newly named SWF), and depending on the differences between the 2 lessons, you might have to change more. Your media should be fine.

However, it would be a lot easier to just put the lessons in different subfolders. Is there any particular reason you want to consolidate your lessons that a course (bundle of lessons), or simply putting the lessons as subfolders in a single directory wouldn't accomplish? I don't know if you know this, but with hyperlinks you can specify something like "../lesson2/player.html".
