SCORM and html5

Postby jmudd » Tue Jul 30, 2013 7:26 am

I saw in the help documents that SCORM is supposed to work with HTML5. How do we download to make that happen? Just putting a SCORM in my LMS is working on a laptop/PC but is indicating it needs flash to work on a droid tablet, iPad and iPhone. What am I missing?

Thanks again. :-)

Hi Janet,
By default, SmartBuilder outputs Flash content. To get it to become HTML5, you'll need to download the lesson in a particular format, run it through a converter program that we have, and you'll end up with the lesson in HTML5. During the conversion process you can inform the converter to make it a SCORM lesson. Keep in mind that HTML5 doesn't support all the same things as Flash, so you might need to adjust a few things in your lesson to get it to look right.

You can find the instructions on how to use the converter here -

And the link to download the converter here -
