HTML Frame

Postby dcastillo » Tue Mar 29, 2011 3:15 pm

What is the HTML Frame? What is object used for and how is it used?

I've looked all over for documentation on this object (Help, Forum, etc.) and I haven't found any.

My first thinking is that this would be used to provide an embedded web page, similar to what Articulate Presenter does. I add a web address to the HTML Frame object properties, but the object doesn't do anything in Preview.

So what is this used for and how is it implemented?

Hi Daniel,
The HTML Frame is used to communicate when the SmartBuilder lesson is loaded in to a frame. You can learn about it here (I just added it to the help) - http://help.smartbuilder.com/node/557

What you want is the IFrame object, which is the same technology that Articulate calls the Web Object. You can learn more about that here (it is pretty handy) - http://help.smartbuilder.com/node/195
