Columns in Glossary A to Z template

Postby Helen » Thu Mar 21, 2013 11:05 am

Hi!

I'm currently building a language course and would like to include a glossary (dictionary) with 3 columns: Language A, Word Class, Language B. Could anyone tell me if it is possible to display the information in columns when using the Glossary A to Z template?

Thanks.

Here is a short video I made that shows a solution. If you want a three column setup for each letter you will have to have three (scrolling or non scrolling) text boxes in the display used for each letter.

Some more information would allow us to more completely answer your question. Here is some info that might clarify things. There is no way to make a text box have columns, you can use three text boxes to simulate a three column look but they will not scroll together. There are many other ways that something like what you want to do could be done in SmartBuilder but we would need to know a few more specifics about your exact content.

Or you could try using spaces to simulate columns as I do in this short video.
