Extra lines around bullet points?

Postby Nav » Mon Sep 10, 2012 10:01 am

The text line spacing is different when it plays on different browsers. In IE, there are extra lines, which is throwing off the alignment of Drop Down lists carefully placed over the text.

The problem here is that IE is displaying an extra line that FireFox and Chrome (and most other browsers) do not. This extra line is probably a special character that was introduced by pasting the text in from some location. I've only ever seen it when bullet points are used.

The best way to fix this is to open the lesson using IE. You will see the extra blank lines on the Authoring Stage, and can delete them - http://screencast.com/t/EbBzQBTDNco

Once you delete those lines, you will have a consistent layout on all browsers.
