Menu Completion

Postby jwilson » Mon Jul 08, 2013 8:59 pm

Working on a course that is/can be non linear. There are a few intro pages and then the 'menu' page that allows them to get to any of the 5 topics that need to be covered. They can go in any order. The other 5 topics are each on their own page. When they are done with a topic/page, there is a button to click to send them back to the menu page. On click and going back to the menu page I want a check mark to go on the button then clicked for that topic to show them they have done that section.

I looked in an old course where we did this (I was not the one who created the situation) and I can't figure it out. I am missing a step.

It is the FHCN Overview course in my current lessons. Menu is on p.6, each page that follows are the ones they go to from menu.

Any help is appreciated. I don't need them to be able to mark their place (bookmarking) as the whole lesson is 10-15 minutes.

Thanks,
Julie

Hi Julie,
You need to use Global Variables to keep track of which pages have been visited. Then show the Checkmarks based on those variables. Finally, you'll need one action to look for the condition when all pages have been visited, and then show something specific.

Let me know if you have any questions.
