Quiz triggering next quiz

Postby BarMan » Wed Apr 03, 2013 1:37 pm

Hi

I have a quiz which consists of 5 subquizzes. Each subquiz (quiz obect) asks random 4 questions out of a pool. No feedback, I save answers for feedback after the whole quiz is finished.
Every subquiz is on a separate page, for the user it seems one big quiz.

For saving all answers I need a lot of global variables (I wish I could use arrays ;-))
I tried to put all 5 subquizzes on one page, but I could not make finishing one quiz triggering the next.

Is it possible to have one quiz trigger the next quiz on the same page?

Hello!
Yes! Basically, you have one main question set that serves up the other Question Sets
part 1 - http://screencast.com/t/h9uoymFLDW
part 2 - http://screencast.com/t/pVvkYYsXzv

I don't know if that helps with how you want to show feedback, though.

This is totally awesome, exactly what I searched and hoped for!

Thanks Nav, you are the hero :D

For the feedback, I think of an swf (swfmessenger):
for every MPCquestion
onSelectionChange
-> swfmessenger - send 'a short version of the questiontext of this question & result'
(all answered - and only the answered - questions will be stored in sequence)

onCompleteTest
-> swfmessenger - show the results

Hello,
You might find this post helpful if this is your first time creating a swf to work with the SWF Messenger: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=884#p2489
