Possible to have a user only retake wrong answers?

Postby Jordan » Tue Mar 10, 2015 10:49 am

We have a quiz with 20-30 questions and the user needs 100% to pass. But if they only miss 1-3 questions, can they just re-take those questions they got wrong instead of starting the entire lesson/quiz over again? How would we set that up? To make matters more complicated this would be a quiz with a mix of pictures, text and videos with cue points.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Hi Jordan,
This is possible. Here's how to do it using the options available in the Question Set - http://screencast.com/t/nVn64KPi

The above method is pretty subtle, it just keeps asking the questions until they get them all right (with unlimited attempts). If you wanted to inform them "Hey, you've answered all the questions, but you got some wrong, please try those ones again. Here they are." then you would have to add some functionality around that to count the number of questions answered, and show a Display on top of the Question Set to interrupt them. That's a bit trickier, but should be possible. A second round of that will be much harder to catch, so you'll probably want to limit them to 2 attempts (or just have them keep on answering and answering until they get 100).

Hope that helps!
