Drag Drop Clicking

I have a simple action set; On drop text field updates with the correct drop count. There are 7 possible correct total drops in the object. When I just click on a drag item it updates the score to 5, no dragging required. I have no other other actions except a hide display set that opens the lesson.

Hi Tahiya,
A drag and drop has two parts, press down to drag, release to drop. If you click a drag object, you are essentially dragging it for a moment and then dropping it immediately. So that counts as a drop, and will trigger your Drag and Drop > onDrop action.

The correct count jumping up to 5 sounds like there are 5 objects already in their correct position (that is, they don't have a drop object marked as correct in the Drag and Drop object, so their default position is "correct"). I'd have to see more of how your Drag and Drop is set up to give you more information about that. How many Drag objects are there? How many Drop zones? What goes where? Etc...

If you want to ignore drops that are dropped into nothing (not a drop zone), you can alter your action a little. Basically, you'll create a condition that gets the last drop name, and if it is NOT blank (meaning that you dropped it into a named drop zone), only then will you update your text object (note the != instead of ==). If the last drop name IS blank, you don't do anything.

Trigger: Drag and Drop > onDrop
Condition: Drag and Drop > Get Last Drop Name != [leave blank]
True Response: [update your text object]
False Response: [do nothing]

I think that's all I can say without seeing the lesson itself. Please email me with the name/page of the lesson if the above doesn't clear things up!
