Deletion of templates?

Postby rwicker » Fri Sep 26, 2008 11:36 am

Hello,

We have a few obsolete templates, and would like to be able to delete them if possible. Currently, we are moving them to a folder we created within the Templates folder named "Obsolete." Is it possible to delete the templates instead? If so, can you please provide that ability?

Thank you,
Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,
If you have rights to drag templates, you should have rights to delete templates. Click on the template, and then use the "Manage > Delete" function to delete them. If you don't see it, then you don't have "write" rights.

Oh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood your question. You, as an owner, should be able to delete your own templates just fine. But right now you cannot "delete" shared templates from shared folders (aka, un-share them) while still retaining your private copy. This functionality will be added soon, and the obsolete folder is a good workaround for the time being.
