How do you know if a template has been applied to a page?

I know that you can only apply one template to a page. How do you know if a template has been applied to a page? When you apply a template to a page which already has a template, the previous template will be overwritten. There should be a warning alerting you to the fact that you are about to overwrite the existing template.

Currently there isn't any indicator to notify you if a template has already been applied to a page. However, I understand the need for this - thanks for the feedback. We are working on the design of some template enhancements including options to allow updating of templates, and possibly allowing multiple templates to be applied to the same page. If this is not workable, then we'll provide an indicator to warn users before applying a template to a page that already contains a template.
